GUEST LECTURE

A guest lecture on "Environmental Health and Hazards" was successfully given to the III Year EEE students on January 23, 2026. 55 students enthusiastically participated in the session, which ran from 3.00 to 4.00 pm, with the goal of increasing awareness of the importance of hazard avoidance and the impact of environmental factors on human health. The resource person for Dr. S. Shamim Rishwana, an Assistant professor/Chemistry, Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, She delivered an engaging and instructive discussion, numerous environmental health issues, the various environmental threats, how they impact public health, and how individuals and society may contribute to a safe and healthy environment have all been discussed. Students gained valuable knowledge about environmental problems and real-world solutions. Dr. R. Suman AP/Chemistry oversaw the program, and Dr. Y. Harold Robinson Professor & Head (CSE), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Convener organised the event. The talk was well received by the students, who enthusiastically participated and benefited from the expert engagement.
