Guest Lecture by Resource Person from IIIT ,Kottaiyam

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on AI in Social Media session for third-year students on August 09, 2025. The event featured Dr. P. Balasubramanian, Assistant Professor of Indian Insititute of Information Technology ,Kottaiyam, as the resource person. During the session, Dr. P. Balasubramanian discussed the current trends in the deep learning ,identifying the fake,fake news detection, Machine learning,NLP, Bayes Theorem,happenings during covid with the fake news also explained using Power Point Presentation.He also emphasized the importance of communication skills and recommended regular practice on Scientifical lab and research labs,includes the process internship in their college. As part of this session, an assignment was given to the students to search in web regarding the session. The event was organized by Mrs.S.Andal.
