Guest Lecture on Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Online Business

Entrepreneurship brings innovation to every aspect of business by using resources effectively and develops new markets and introduces improved products and technology. Entrepreneurs play a pivotal role in the growth of the economy. The online business opens the gate to numerous opportunities for entrepreneurs. With regard to Entrepreneurship, a guest lecture on the topic “Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Online Business” was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 22th May, 2023 at 01:30 pm to 04.30 pm. The program was held via online mode. Mr.A.Alban Santhosh, Alumni Entrepreneur - Founder Director, Life Changers Academy, Tirunelveli was the resource person. Dr.R.K.A.Bhalaji, AP/Mech inaugurated the session with a welcome address. The resource person shared ideas related to entrepreneurial opportunities in online business such as amazon, technical writer, startup advisor, digital courses, tutorial business, youtube channel etc. He said that most of the people are earning a lot of money from instagram, youtube, twitter by posting videos and photos based on subscribers and views. He also discussed online business environments such as work force, economic force, technology, competitors, partners, customers/clients, communities etc and also showed the online business model with real time examples. Additionally he deliberated about the features, marketing solutions & challenges in online business. The program came to an end with feedback by students and the faculty members.
