Guest Lecture on Entrepreneurship Mindset

An entrepreneurial mindset is a set of skills that enable people to identify and make the most of opportunities, overcome and learn from setbacks, and succeed in a variety of settings. On 10th October, 2022 a guest talk on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP MINDSET” was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Master of Business Administration. The Session was handled by Mr.Lakshman Babu, Co founder & Director, TechGenzi Pvt Ltd, Bangalore. Ms.M.MAHABOOB WASHIFA, I MBA student, welcomed the resource person. The speaker gave a brief introduction on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurs. He stated that Entrepreneurs are harnessing the power of business and the economy to create positive change for people and the planet, reshaping how the economy works and expanding the benefits to a broader group of stakeholders. He stated that the most important requirement for an entrepreneur is the mind set like an owner and an employee and also added that the usage and adaptability of an ever-changing mindset help improve the existing processes of enterprises, and build efficiency and the social well-being of people, thereby enhancing value for all. He emphasized the importance of mindset in entrepreneurship and he suggested the participants to understand the importance of Social entrepreneurs. The session was informative and thought provoking to all the students and staff and the session ended with vote of thanks by Ms.G.SHARU LEKHA I MBA. Nearly 60 students and 2 staff members participated in the program.
