Guest Lecture on “Placement in Top-Notch Multinational Companies”

On 31-03-2023 the department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a guest lecture on the topic “Placement in Top-Notch Multinational Companies” under the activity code ACT/22-23/01365. The resource person for the guest lecture was Er. Vijayadharshini, (Alumni CSE) Associate Consultant, SAP - Deeptech. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, welcomed and introduced the resource person. The resource person interacted with the II year CSE students and shared her experience among the students. She listed some of the best websites for the placement preparation and suggested students to refer to W3schools, geeksforgeeks, tutorialspoint, javatpoint, edureka, udemy, sololearn and coursera. She also asked the students to enroll in the coding communities such as codechef, skillrack, github, hackerrank, codecamp, hackerearth and codefight. She advised the students to complete various certifications such as google certification, amazon certification, TCS ion, CISCO Certification and Linkedin Learning and motivated the students to participate in various competitions such as Hackathons, Idea Submission, document ideas and patent submission. The program came to an end with a vote of thanks by Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan. The event was coordinated by Dr. E. Manohar under the guidance of Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, HOD/CSE and Mr. Krishan Kumar, Director, Alumni Association.
