A guest lecture on "Placement Opportunities in Gulf Countries" was held on 30th April 2025, aiming to provide valuable insights to students and alumni about building successful careers in the Middle East.
The event began with a warm welcome and introduction of the resource person by Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (HOD/CSE). Mr. Anto Deepak, alumni vertical head, honored the guest in recognition of his achievements as a distinguished alumnus. Dr. E. Manohar then gave an overview of the programme and shared the vision and activities of the alumni association.
Er. Alban Santhosh A, CEO of Life Changers Ind. and a 2023 graduate, delivered the keynote address. He explored the diverse career opportunities available in Gulf countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait. He highlighted the significant shift in these nations, which were once heavily reliant on oil but are now rapidly transitioning into IT and technology-driven economies.
