Guest Lecture on Process of Innovation Development

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Organized an Guest Lecture on 31.03.2022 for II EEE A IV EEE Students. Dr.K.Lakshmi Narayanan, Professor, Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli, has delivered a Guest Lecture on the topic “Transforming the Innovative Ideas in to Startup " at II EEE A class room. The resource person shared and He explained about difference between invention and Innovation, that Incremental Innovation: Under this heading, the speaker explained the stages and updation of Technology and inventions. Evolved innovation: Evolutionary innovation seeks incremental changes to existing products, processes, systems, and structures. It is not usually as expensive as revolutionary innovation. Applied research refers to scientific study and research that seeks to solve practical problems. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the new emerging modern technology and cloud computing offer an automation possibility through cyber physical systems that will change the world by replacing the old manually using products. The students gained motivation and idea of Innovation and got benefitted by this Guest Lecture.
