The Guest Lecture on “Purpose and Importance of the HR Interview in Recruitment” was conducted on 21-01-2026 as part of the Alumni Interaction program by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The session was delivered by Er. S. E. Mala, Application Performance Management Engineer at TCS, who shared valuable insights into the significance of HR interviews in the recruitment process. She highlighted employer expectations, evaluation criteria, and effective communication and behavioural skills required for successful interviews. The lecture included practical tips and real-time industry experiences, enabling students to enhance their confidence and interview preparedness. The program was coordinated by Dr. E. Manohar, with overall guidance from Dr. Y. Harold Robinson, HOD/CSE, ensuring the successful conduct of the event.
