In a remarkable achievement, the Elite Mindz Team from the Ideation Industrial Applied Lab at Francis Xavier Engineering College has successfully published a patent Titled: “MEDBOT - AI Integrated Autonomous Rover for Medicinal Plant Recognition.” This pioneering invention, designed to autonomously identify medicinal plants using advanced artificial intelligence, promises to revolutionize the fields of healthcare and environmental science.
The accomplished team comprises GB Kala Devi of IV B.Tech - Information Technology, N Arumugam and J Joel, of III B.Tech Computer Science and Business Systems. Their ground-breaking work was guided by Dr. TC Subbulakshmi, Professor of Information Technology, and Ms. A Agnes, Assistant Professor of Information Technology.
The MEDBOT project exemplifies the exceptional talent and dedication of our students and faculty. The autonomous rover, integrated with cutting-edge AI technology, aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of identifying medicinal plants, which could have far-reaching implications for both medical research and natural resource management.
