Inauguration of dawn’24

DAWN is a name given to the student’s association of MCA Department. The DAWN was created mainly for the extended activities of MCA students in Francis Xavier Engineering College. To encourage and entertain the student community, DAWN association joined its hand with management of Francis Xavier Engineering College by providing chance to conduct and attend the competitions, workshops, seminars, skill trainings, club activities, placement activities and symposiums etc…The Inauguration of DAWN Association was successfully organized by the Department of MCA. The event has started devotionally with the prayer song by MCA Choir Students. Mr. D. Pressnave of final year MCA welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest for the Inauguration is Mrs. Nageswari, Tech Lead @ Quest Global and Ms. Pavithra, UI/UX design Engineer, Tunica Tech, Mumbai. Dr.V.Velmurugan, Principal, Francis Xavier Engineering College presided over the function as a Guest of Honor. Office bearers elected for the Academic year 2024 – 2025 are Final years representatives Mr. A. Ashok Kumar and Ms. A. Affifa Bagam, First year representatives – Mr. Raj Livingston and Ms. Sivaranjani, Secretaries - Mr. D. Pressnave, Mr. Vignesh, Treasurers – Ms Priyanka, Ms. Jumana Haseem, Members - Mr. Sooriyaprakash, Mr. Durai Hariharan, Mr. Madhavan, Mr. Venkatesh, Mr. Vetteivel was introduced by Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, HOD/MCA. The dignitaries on the Dias along with the office barriers has lighted the lamp and inaugurated the ceremony. Ms. Priyanka of Final year MCA, introduced the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honor Dr. V.Velmurugan has delivered the Presidential address and emphasized the importance of utilizing resources available in the campus and honored the chief guests with a memento. Mr. Pressnave of final year MCA was honored with the memento for being the outperformer during the Silver Jubilee Logo Design competition for the institution. Mr. Sooriya Prakash of final year MCA has delivered the Achievement of DAWN’23. The DAWN show has been launched by the final year students. The chief guests in their speech delivered the importance of fundamental knowledge for placements. They added a flavor with their own lifetime experience. Being an alumnus, he whole heartedly thanked the department for making him as prominent alumni. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Jumana Haseen of first year MCA. The Head and faculties of MCA organized the event in a grand manner.
