01st October 2022 the inauguration of the 5G service by the Honourable Prime Minister of India was telecasted to the students at 10.00 a.m. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 5G services at the 6th Edition of India Mobile Congress 2022. Now in India the users will be able to enjoy 5G services. Several top companies like Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Qualcomm demonstrated their 5G services as well as the benefits.

The indigenous development of end-to-end 5G technology, and how 5G can help bridge the gap between urban and rural healthcare delivery was demonstrated to the viewers. The latest 5G network will not only offer faster internet speeds to users, but will also help offer support to the government in areas such as disaster management, agriculture, among others. Reliance Industries' Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, announced that Jio will ensure to offer "the highest quality and most affordable rates that anyone else has in the world." The telecom operator promised to offer 5G to each corner of India and which really useful for the students to understand the next generation technology and its impact in the upcoming scenario. The entire programme was live telecasted to the MBA students in the MBA Seminar Hall, which was really an eye- opening session. 45 students and 1 staff member participated in the program.
