Francis Xavier Engineering College proudly organized Independence Day Freedom Contest - 2025 for celebrating our Nation’s 79th Independence day on 14.08.2025 in FXEC campus. To bring out the talents and patriotism of students, 8 competitions were conducted for the students such as Pencil Sketching , Painting, Photography, Tamil & English Essay Writing, Tamil & English Elocution, Rangoli and 1 Department level Exhibition competition were conducted. Students from all the departments actively participated in competitions and won prizes.
Dr. V.Velmurugan- Principal, Prof.J. Zahariya Gabriel, Campus Manager and Prof. J. David Ayling, AP/ English FXEC honored the winners of all the events with trophies and certificates. The Department of IT won the first prize for Exhibition and Dr.M.Caroline Viola Stella Mary HOD/IT along with other Faculties received the Trophy. Prof. M. Thanalakshmi AP/MBA acted as overall Event coordinator and Head of the Department Dr.Annie Rose Nirmala as Convener for the event . Francis Xavier Department of Management Studies, Faculties and Students coordinated the event.
