Innovative 2023

On March 15th 2023 Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with Department of Electronics and Communications organized an “INNOVATIVE 2023”. The Innovative project competition was organized for Polytechnic students of various disciplines. 45 batches consisting of 152 students of various disciplines participated in the Innovation Project Competition. The Polytechnic students from various colleges in and around Tirunelveli participated in the event. The students were allotted adequate space and necessary tools for setting up their presentation from 9.30 AM to 4.00 PM.

The participants exhibited their innovative projects and explained the functions of the product, the technology used and the purpose for which it can be used. 37 hardware projects and 8 software projects were exhibited by the students. The hardware projects were examined by Mr. S. Sheik Sulaiman, AP/MECH and Mr. J. Jeremy Jeba Samuel, AP/MECH and software projects were examined by Ms. Agnes Josy AP/IT and Dr. E Manohar, Associate Professor CSE. Students explained the tools used, software used and the challenges faced during the different stages of innovation. The students exhibited projects in the area like Smart city, Green Energy, Medical Application, Smart farming and Accident free transportation. The project exhibition came to an end with the valedictory function where the prizes were given to the winners and certificates were issued to the participants by the Principal of the college. The competition created a motivation to do more and to innovate new products. Students were also visited the project presented y the students. The display gave an insight to the students visited display.
