Inspiring Innovation and Creating the Future

On 3rd March 2023 FX Alumni Association cell of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized an expert talk on “Inspiring Innovation and Creating the Future”. Mr. S.Ahamed Rishvan, Country Manager, (KSA), Ray Chem RPG, Saudi spoke on the topic “Inspiring Innovation and Creating the Future”.

Mr.Ahamed Rishvan, started the talk with giving a brief statistics on the current employability status of engineering students. He highlighted the growth of electrical core industry, which has increased demand for fresh engineers. His talk also focused on the recent industry trends in core engineering field. He listed down more than fifteen roles/designation currently being practiced in the core companies; their skill set requirement, companies name, job responsibilities etc. and explained the career growth ladder. The speaker emphasized on the importance of right mix of knowledge, attitude and additional skills for a successful career. The talk provided the students a platform for sharing their thoughts and was endowed with proper guidance regarding all the aspects of career in core field.

He also addressed that, today, we live in a dynamic and turbulent global community. The wave of mega-trends, including rapid change in globalization and technological advances, is creating new market forces. For any organization to survive and prosper in such an environment, innovation is imperative. However, innovation is no longer just for creating value to benefit individuals, organizations, or societies. The ultimate purpose of innovation should be much more far reaching, helping create a smart future where people can enjoy the best quality of life possible. Thus, innovation must search for intelligent solutions to tackle major social ills, seek more proactive approaches to predict the uncertain future, and pursue strategies to remove barriers to the smart future.
