Inspiring Vision and Planning for Business Establishment

On 29th November 2023, Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with Department of Civil Engineering organized an Expert Talk on “Strategic Innovative Thinking: Inspiring Vision and Planning for Business Establishment”. The resource person for the program was Er.Vellapandi, M.E, Proprietor, AVP Builders, Tirunelveli. 40 civil engineering students and 1 faculty attended the program. The session was coordinated by Mrs. P. Raja Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, FXEC.

The resource person started the session addressing the advantages of business establishment for civil engineers. He addressed that for a successful business establishment a great team of knowledgeable and skilled people should be built. Self-confidence and the ability to tackle things also play a major role. Investing money for the business and also training the employees for marketing the business, customer feedbacks, increasing community members and finding suitable vendors in each and every thing also plays a vital role for the success of any business. An entrepreneur should always be adaptable to changes and should never compromise on the quality of work. He also made a note on strategic planning tools and methodologies to navigate uncertainties and capitalize on opportunities. The participants expressed high satisfaction with the program, highlighting the practical relevance of the content and the diverse perspectives shared by guest speakers.
