Interaction with Product Innovators & Exposure visit to Incubation Centre

On 10th February, 2023 Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a program titled “Interaction with Product Innovators & Exposure visit to Incubation Centres” from 09:00 am to 04.00 pm. Dr.R.K.A.Bhalaji, AP/Mech coordinated the program.

The students had an opportunity to interact with the product developers in the incubation centres. The sharing of the product developers evoked good response among the participants and the participants interacted very frequently with the product developers. The product developers demonstrated the recently developed innovative products such as drum and cylinder lifting machine, plant digging machine, IOT based mopping system, Khasaya making machine, smart agri machine, IOT based smart safety helmet and E-vehicle. The interaction and the demonstration helped the participants to know the design and developmental process involved in the development of the innovative products. While interacting with the student product developers, they learnt about how to develop the innovative products using IOT, scotch yoke mechanism, arduino boards and sensors etc. Students gained knowledge about the process of developing the design and develop the cost- effective E-vehicle. The interaction and visit to the incubation centre helped the participants to gather lot of information about the process of designing and developing new product development. Participants were allowed to work in the incubation centre visited by them using the software technology they know.
