MIC Driven Activity

On 30th January 2023 one MIC organized a Leadership Talk by Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Hon’ble Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) at 11.00 a.m. as a MIC Driven activity. This event was screened by Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution Innovation Council in association with Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. 120 students and 9 staff members participated in the program.

Resource person explained the research which are taking place in IIT. He insisted all the colleges to focus on research and innovations in all the institutions. He also highlighted the need for providing necessary fund for the researchers to promote research. He stressed the innovation ecosystem in the higher educational institutions. He spoke on the core engineering areas and insists the researchers to concentrate more in this area and the innovations needed to reduce the import of the same.

He talked about the stress management and the ways to reduce the stress among the students. He shared his personal experiences while managing the institutions. The speaker insisted on setting goal for which one is trying to achieve. He also spoke about the IITs functioning in India and their role in promoting innovative products. He said IITs are Institute of Indian Technology and they are producing lot of innovative products which is very essential for the promotion of vibrant India. Moreover, the speaker said that all the government colleges can also become IITs and promote the innovation ecosystem in India and contribute for the national growth.
