On 27.10.2023 a “Motivational Session by a Successful Start-up Founder” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of AI&DS. The session was handled by the resource Mr.Anto Joel Valan Mutharasu IV-CSE, Start-up founder, Francis Xavier Engineering College. 60 students from first year AI&DS and 1 faculty of AI&DS department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Mrs P.Sooriabrabha, Assistant Professor, Department of AI&DS from 9.00AM –4PM.
The program started with the introduction of guest speaker by Mrs.P.Sooriabrabha Assistant professor Department of AI&DS. The resource person shared his experience as the startup founder from a struggling entrepreneur to a highly successful start-up founder. He inspired the participants by giving example of successful Indian Startup founders and their achievements. Their inspirational insights shed light on the key ingredients for entrepreneurial success and the mindset required to navigate challenges and seize opportunities. The session aimed to instill a sense of determination, resilience, and innovative mindset among aspiring entrepreneurs. The speaker stressed the necessity of viewing failures as valuable learning experiences. The speaker said that audience to embrace failure as a necessary part of the entrepreneurial journey, emphasizing that each setback can serve as a stepping stone towards ultimate success. He highlighted the importance of having a clear vision while remaining adaptable to market dynamics.
The speaker gave lot of information about startups and the process of developing the startup. Moreover, this he gave examples from Tamil Nadu and inspires the students to involve in innovation and converting the innovative products into startups. The resource person being the startup founder he information about what to do and what not to do while trying to develop startup. In fact the session went on well and all the participants benefited by the information shared by the speaker.
