On-Demand Business Model: An Emerging Model in Entrepreneurship

On 24.6.2022 the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC organised a workshop for first year B.Tech Artificial intelligence and Data Science students. Mrs.Dr.A.Jainul Fathima AP/IT,FXEC was the resource person. The resource person addressed the students on “On-Demand Business Model: An Emerging Model in Entrepreneurship”. The resource person explained the concept of “On-demand Business Model” and gave few examples such as Uber, Amazon and Netflix.

The entrepreneurs using this business model transforms digitally themselves in response to changing customer demands and profitably, resulting in significant revenue. Under this concept the entrepreneur provides prompt delivery of goods and services at their doorsteps of the customer. The resource person also said that On-demand delivery is a set of multiple sales and logistics processes that empower retailers, manufacturers, eCommerce providers, restaurants, grocery chains among others to satisfy a customer's need to procure something and get the same item delivered at the doorstep or to a location of the preference. This workshop was coordinated by Mrs. P. Sooriabrabha, AP/AI&DS.
