Data science industrial applied laboratories students are developing various real time projects and participating in various national and international level events. On 11th Dec. 2022, “ATOM Sympo 1.0” a National level project contest was conducted by project contest innovations LLP in association with Sathyabama Technology Business Incubator (NSTEDB-DST) through online mode. A total of three teams from data science lab, DhanushShivarajan& team, FathimaSheerin& team, Maheswari& team presented their project. Out of the presenters, Maheswari A (II AI&DS), Adlin Christiana (II AI&DS), AnnsSoniya Mary (II CSBS), Syed Zakriya (II AI&DS), SelvaBoopathy (II AI&DS) got first prize – The jury choice award in the event. Prof.Arunadevi M, AP/AI&DS & data science industrial applied lab Incharge mentored the team and won “Best Mentor” award for mentoring the innovative project. Dr. K. Jeyakumar, GM (Development), Mr. Krishna Kumar GM (Administration & Director applied labs), Dr. V. Velmurugan, principal, appreciated the team for their achievement.
