On 3rd August, 2022 the “Prototype expo” was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell @ 9.30 a.m.–12.30 p.m. During this session the students presented the developed prototypes based on “Embedded IoT and Machine learning”, “Artificial Intelligence” & “Data Science and Data Analytics”. The Protypes were evaluated by the following team.

2. Mr. E.John Singh Russel, Admin & Operations, Manager 3i-Infotech,
3. Mr. Jerome, HR Manager, 3i-Infotech, Tirunelveli
The projects were evaluated by the industry experts from 3i Infotech Tirunelveli and gave inputs on the future enhancements and upgradation of the prototypes to products to support the society. Giving a boost to the innovative ideas presented by the students, the experts shared their expertise on adding front-end modules using Angular JS. For data analytics projects, inputs were given to incorporate commercial applications using big data analytics with live data.
The participants were appreciated for their creativity and innovation in their project. Mr. Prakash Sundararajan, Centre Head, 3i-Infotech invited the winners and runner up teams to visit their company at the end of this month and demonstrate their product to the leads of respective domains.
During the discussion, the expert members discussed the prime areas of projects that 3i infotech is working as a global provider of IT Infrastructure services, their proven global delivery capabilities, and strategic alliances. Their proposal on extending the division to Tilicon valley was also discussed. On the discussion with regard to Internship opportunities with stipend for the students, the members of the team gave their consent for the same. Further, the members of the team gave their consent to support the Institution with regard to the curriculum design and provide "Data Analytics in AI &DS"as an Industry supported course. For enhanced continued support, the team agreed to sign an MoU with the institution.
