Session on Awareness Programme for the GATE Aspirants GATE- JAM 2026

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Session on Awareness Programme for the GATE Aspirants GATE-JAM 2026 A session for second,third and Final year students was conducted on September 24, 2025. 65 students and 2 faculties participated. The event featured by Mr.Dr.Vagesh Narasimhamurthy ,Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras as the resource person. This event was coordinated by Mr.M.SathyaAP/CSE. The primary objective of the session was to provide comprehensive guidance on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) 2026, focusing on preparation strategies, exam patterns, higher education opportunities, and career prospects.

The session was expertly delivered by a distinguished Professor from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), whose insightful presentation greatly motivated the students. The resource person elaborated on the eligibility criteria, subject-wise syllabus distribution, question pattern, and scoring methodology of both GATE and JAM examinations. Emphasis was laid on conceptual clarity, time management, and systematic preparation, supported by real-life success stories of past achievers.
