On 2.08.2023 a talk on "Sharing of Entrepreneurial Experiences" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The session was handled by Mr. R. Rajesh Kumar, CEO, Friends Electrical works, Gangaikondan from 09.30 AM – 12.30 PM. 42 students and 3 faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha AP/EEE.
The program started with the welcome address by Dr. A. Ravi, Head of the Department, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College. He started his welcome address by explaining the motto of IIC. He introduced our alumni resource person Mr. R. Rajesh Kumar, CEO, Friends Electrical works, Gangaikondan.
The guest speaker Mr. R. Rajesh Kumar started the speech by addressed the gathering and spoke about entrepreneurship, Risk taking, planning and technology transfer. He also encourages the students to dedicate their time to inventing something new and bringing it to market in order to effect worthwhile social change. He explained some of the highly profitable startup opportunities for Electrical Engineers. He also explained the identification of right partners, staying focused on crucial goals, getting funding for the startups. He gave lot of tips for final year project and how the projects can be converted into innovative products. The participants interacted with the resource person and gathered lot of information regarding entrepreneurship and business opportunities.
