Sharing of Entreprenurial Experience

On 28.03.2023 Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an Expert talk on "Sharing of Entrepreneurial Experience". The session was handled by Mr.M.Ram Aravinth, RMK Builders, Tirunelveli from 10.00 AM- 12.00 AM. 50 students and 2 faculties participated in the program. This event was coordinated by Mrs.M.Subashini AP/EEE.

The program started with the welcome address by Dr.P.Annapandi. He started his welcome address by explaining the benefits being an entrepreneur. Later, he introduced the guest speaker to the students. The resource person started the session with introduction to “entrepreneurship”. How one should be passionate about making their ideas work. The speaker discussed how starters need to have everything properly planned before start. He also spoke about the prerequisites of starting a business and running it in a profitable manner. All this was explained by discussing start-up stories such as Paytm, Fresh menu, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, Swiggy as well as their own journey. Students wanted to know how to spot opportunities and how their education will help the young prospective entrepreneurs with planning, financing and managing their businesses.

The session was insightful and exhibited knowledge. It was a great learning for all the students as they enjoyed the question and answer sessions and got the opportunity to clear their doubts. The Program was organized by Mrs.M.Subashini Assistant professor/EEE, Francis Xavier Engineering College.
