On the 21st of July 2023, a workshop titled "Supercharging technology with Branding and Marketing " was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of IT. The session was handled by Mr.Vasanth Kumar CEO and Founder of Branding Consultant. 52 students from final year IT and 2 faculties of IT department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Ms. R.Shirly Myrtle, Assistant professor, Department of IT from 10 a.m-12.00pm

The Resource person started with a brief background, highlighting the individual's journey as a tech entrepreneur, the challenges faced, and the successes achieved through strategic branding and marketing. He shared insights into the power of branding for technology startups. He highlighted the process of building a strong brand identity from scratch, including choosing a compelling company name, crafting a memorable logo, and establishing a unique value proposition. He emphasized the role of branding in fostering trust and credibility among potential customers and investors .He discussed the critical components of a successful strategy for technology startups. From market research and audience segmentation to choosing the right marketing channels, the talk provided practical advice on reaching the target audience effectively. He elaborated on how technology can be utilized to enhance branding and efforts. The speaker explained the role of artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and automation in optimizing marketing campaigns and personalizing customer experiences. Case studies and real-life examples were presented to illustrate the impact of technology-driven branding initiatives. Following the talk, the participants engaged in a Q&A session with the entrepreneur. The highlight of the program was some of the thought-provoking questions asked by the participants and the resource person responded, providing additional insights and clarifications on branding and marketing strategies.
