TECH CONNECT SESSION 4 ON INFORMATION SECURITY

With a view to connecting with industry and making known the emerging trends and expectations in the Industrial Sector a “Tech Session 3 on Information Security” was organized on 15th March 2024 in association with the Southern Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry by 02.00 pm online through Webex platform. Southern Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led, and industry-managed organization, whose primary function is to work for the development of industries in South India. Mr. George Koshi, Chair, SICCI Employability Taskforce & Director - Learning & Development, Sify Technologies, Mr. Vinod Senthil, Director & Chief Technical Officer infySEC Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Ms. Kavitha Srinivasulu, Global Head of Cyber Risk and Data Privacy – BFSI R&C – TCS, Mr. Rex, Founder and CEO, Rec Cyber Solutions Pvt. Ltd were invited as the panel members for the Tech Session. The session started with the welcome address by Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, AP/MCA, FXEC. Mr. George Koshi, moderated the panel discussion forum online that centered around the questions on automated measurements using Cyber network and security. Discussion carried out with regard to Patent Filing and the importance is stressed. Career opportunities and Internships in the Information Security field were explored to the students. Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, HOD/MCA, and William Carry, Secretary, SICCI thanked all the panel members and the organizing committee for the valuable inputs and knowledge shared. The session ended with the questionnaire session hosted by Mrs. K. Dhamayanthi,AP/MCA. The session was found to be interesting and educational about Information Security and its opportunities.
