The Future of Entrepreneurship: Trends, Technologies and Opportunities

On 30.10.2023 a Webinar "The future of Entrepreneurship: Trends, Technologies and Opportunities" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The Session was handled by Dr. P. Thamizhazhagen, Dean(i/c), University College of Engineering Tindivanam (A Constituent College Anna University) Melpakkam from 1.30 PM – 4.30 PM. 41 students and 1 faculty participated. This event was coordinated by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha AP/EEE.

The program started with the welcome address by M.Mary Sumitha, EDC Coordinator of EEE and introduced the guest speaker of the program. The guest speaker started his speech by explaining the rapid technological advancements, shifting consumer behaviours, and evolving global dynamics and the landscape of entrepreneurship. He highlighted the emerging trends and opportunities that are shaping the future of entrepreneurship. He also explained the gig economy, remote work, and flexible arrangements which are becoming increasingly prevalent. Entrepreneurs are tapping into a global talent pool, allowing them to assemble teams with diverse skills regardless of geographical barriers. As the world is connected digitally any time, anywhere and any thing can be done which provides better platform for the entrepreneurs to connect globally and do business. The participants gathered lot of information through the session.
