The Power of Collaboration: Building Successful Entrepreneurial Partnerships

On 21.2.2024 a guest talk on "The Power of Collaboration: Building Successful Entrepreneurial Partnerships" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The session was handled by Mrs. A. Amala Manuela, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 01.30 PM – 4.30 PM. 41 students and 2 faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha AP/EEE.

The program started with the welcome address by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College. The resource person began with the Introduction to Entrepreneurial Partnerships. She explained the concept of entrepreneurship and its importance in enhancing the economic conditions of a nation. She gave few examples of the successful Indian entrepreneurs who have excelled in their mission. She also explained with example some successful entrepreneurial Partnership like Google and NASA, Apple and IBM, Uber and Spotify etc. She spoke about the challenges of entrepreneurial partnerships, misaligned objectives, integration Complexities. She highlighted the key factors for the successful entrepreneurial partnerships, Clear communication, aligned goals and adaptability. She talked about the benefits of collaboration, sharing of resources and expertise, knowledge exchange and innovative solution. She also explained the process of finding the right partner, identifying complementary skills and values, building trust and communication, and overcoming challenges. Students raised few queries and it was clarified by the resource person with suitable examples.
