Webinar on Pitching Event for PoCs developed & linkage with Innovation Ambassadors for mentorship support

On 22.1.2022 a webinar was organised by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution’s lnnovation Council in association with the Department of Computer Applications on the topic "Pitching Event for PoCs developed & linkage with Innovation Ambassadors for mentorship support” for the MCA students. Dr. R. Prem Ananth, IIC Convener, IIC Innovation Ambassador for "Design thinking & Innovations" Assistant Professor-ECE, delivered the guest lecture through online mode. The meeting started with a prayer by Mr. A. Arul Amalraj, AP/MCA followed by the welcome address by Mr.S.Shanmuga Sundari, AP/MCA. The resource person introduction was given by Mr. R. Albert Paulin Michael, AP /MCA. The session was handled by Dr. R Prem Ananth, from 11.00am - 12.30pm. The resource person explained the meaning of PoC. He said PoC is a theoretical demonstration to confirm that certain concept or processes are feasible for real world application. He also discussed about the different types of pitching and the things to be taken in to account while pitching the idea or PoC or prototype. The participants raised lot of questions on the subject matter presented and the interaction between the resource person and the participants was highly encouraging to all the participants. 90 students and 7 staffs members were actively participated in the session.
