On 4th April, 2022 a “Workshop on Entrepreneurial Opportunities through Online Platform” was organized through online mode. Dr.S.Sonia, Assistant Professor, Department of Financial Planning, Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, Chennai was the resource person. Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, EDC Director & IIC President and Mrs. J.Anna Thangam, EDC Co ordinator & Assistant Professor, MBA Department coordinated the Programme.
MBA students participated in the program. Thanga Duraichi.D, I Year student of MBA delivered the welcome speech and Rasika.S, II Student of MBA introduced the guest speaker.
The resource person explained the importance of entrepreneurship and why it becomes very vital to know the various entrepreneurial opportunities in the online platform. He listed the various opportunities in online platform like Bloggers, content creators, owners of e-commerce sites and online consultants. The resource person also explained the process of becoming the online entrepreneur and the necessary skills one must possess in order to become a successful online entrepreneur. It was very much interesting to note that the guest speake gave lot of live examples while explaining the various opportunities in the online platform and how it provides entrepreneurial opportunities. Finally, Issac JMC I Year student of MBA delivered the vote of thanks and thanked the Guest speaker for presenting the concept very clearly and the interest created by the guest speaker by citing the live examples. The feedback link was posted to the participants, to take collect the opinion of the participants about the programme.
