Workshop on Pcb Design and Fabrication

PCB fabrication and PCB design are the two distinct parts of the PCB manufacturing process. To assure the knowledge of an individual student in PCB design and fabrication, a two days (14 hrs) workshop was conducted by the Department of EEE on the topic “PCB Design and Fabrication” on 27th & 28th Oct, 2022. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. V. Velmurugan, Principal, FXEC and Valedictory address was given by Dr. M Mohamed Sathik, Director, School of Computer science, FXEC. On the first day of the workshop, students were given training on the overview of Course (PCB design and fabrication), Basic concepts of PCB Designing, Introduction to Installation of Eagle Software on machine, Direct Board files creation using a Dc Power Supply Circuit And Relay Driver Circuit Board, Error Checking Using Electrical Rule Check (ERC), Schematic Designing for a Circuit and Conversion of your Schematic Design to Board file. On the second day, the students learnt the following factors like auto routing techniques, error checking using Design Rule Check (DRC), Library files creation on Eagle software, Gerber file creation for your Board file, Fabrication of PCB designing and soldering, Testing of Power Supply Circuit or Mini Project Circuit. The main Objective of the workshop is to make students design PCB layout of a given circuit using eagle crack version Software and fabricate it. The program was very useful and informative to the students.
