Francis Xavier Engineering College was awarded Platinum Rating in AICTE – CII Survey of Industry Linked Technical Institutes 2020. For the past two years 2018 and 2019 Francis Xavier Engineering College awarded Gold consecutively and this year it’s awarded with Platinum Rating because of its Best practices in association with industries. 814 institutes were shortlisted for full Survey carried by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi in association with Confederation of Indian Industry.
The objective of this Survey is to assess the status of partnership between technical institutions and industry. It has been designed keeping six basic parameters in mind and the institutes are evaluated on their industry linkages on the following six parameters in every stream separately:
The college has active MoUs with IBM, National Instruments, Texas Instruments, Oracle, Dell-EMC2, Autodesk, VMWare, Palo Alto Networks, Strategiqa, Ezeetrak, Avid GSL Solutions (Japan) and similar leading companies. This helps the students interact regularly with the corporate world and make them industry ready. Training in the area of Networking such as CCNA certification is provided for the students from the CISCO Academy.
