The proposed machine uses a RRL spherical configuration to produce high-quality spherical surface and pocket with tight tolerances and can be scaled from micromachining to macro-machining. It efficiently mills concave and convex surfaces, pockets, and special slots on cylindrical and spherical job like valves and bearings. This machine can be adopted for co-ordinate measuring for inspection/reverse engineering of complex shapes.
